Where we are

Portugal Nature Lodge is constructed in Monte Malhadins, a wonderful piece of earth of  7,5 ha (18,53 acres) with hills with cork oaks and many other kinds of trees, shrubs, plants, flowers and herbs.

It  is close to the traditional Alentejan white village of Troviscais in the PNSACV. This Parc has been created by the portugese government to stop the construction from too many and too high buildings in the coastal area. And the plan worked out well, here you can still find lots of beautiful beaches without any buildings in the background. 

It is situated in the southwest Alentejo, appr. 40 km north of the Algarve and 80 km of Lagos, between the coastal towns of Zambujeira do Mar and Vila Nova de Milfontes. The closest little town is Odemira with several big supermarkets.




In a straight line we are 10 km of the coast, but it takes 20 km by car to get there. Traffic jams are unknown here, so you will be on the beach in 20 minutes. You can reach us easy from Faro (1,5 hour) as well as Lisbon (2 hours).
